"I want to hear and see everything." ~ Jimi Hendrix

This is what this post looked like after I submitted it to "Fight For The Future" for self-censorship in protest of SOPA/PIPA, back in December. I decided to go ahead and post the un-censored version because of what happened this week. It appears to be working, according to email I got yesterday:
"A big hurrah to you!!!!! We’ve won for now -- SOPA and PIPA were dropped by Congress today -- the votes we’ve been scrambling to mobilize against have been cancelled.
The MPAA (the lobby for big movie studios which created these terrible bills) was shocked and seemingly humbled. “‘This was a whole new different game all of a sudden,’ MPAA Chairman and former Senator Chris Dodd told the New York Times. ‘[PIPA and SOPA were] considered by many to be a slam dunk.’”
“'This is altogether a new effect,' Mr. Dodd said, comparing the online movement to the Arab Spring. He could not remember seeing 'an effort that was moving with this degree of support change this dramatically' in the last four decades," he added."

How 'bout that? We can have a sit-in and never even leave the farm. ;-)

nice...very cool to see what was redacted....experience is everything...until someone takes it away
Brian,
Thanks. Yeah, it's pitiful and downright ridiculous what could have happened. Well, still could I guess, but we've won for now!
For now...
The b......s (I am censoring myself) could come back yet. Great post, by the way.
Snoopy,
Thanks. They're already trying to slip another one through, characterized as (apologies;-) the internet snooping bill.
